It's tough when a band loses both their lead vocalist and their lead guitarist, but Tanagra are holding together. This is a decent ballad in the vein of their song Antietam. I miss the Bad Religion vocals and the heavy riffs, but this still has their Spock's Beard sound intact. Good try. I hope they get back to rocking hard soon.

about
Seas of Glass is a bold proclamation that the band has survived the departure of Tom Socia, the legal battle with Nagra, and the restrictions of Covid.
With Erich Ulmer as the new lead singer; it's a new sound but still distinctly Tanagra - clean leads and harmonies, impassioned vocals, a bit of grit and ending with some driving riffs.
Great release! It's really nice to hear a band grow and continue to flesh out their sound with a new release and it really shows here! EVERYTHING SOUNDS AMAZING! Talon Sullivan
